Taylor Swift hosted a live chat and Google+ Hangout Monday night to make a big announcement. She didn’t make fans wait long, announcing at the top of the hour-long event that she will release her new album, Red, on October 22. She also debuted the album's cover and premiered her new single, “We Are Never, Ever Getting Back Together,” during the webcast. The single was made available on iTunes shortly after the chat.
